delete your tendTwo account
Last updated: 13 October 2026
This page explains how to delete your account and personal data from tendTwo, the app operated by Nicola Ferendinos. You can ask for deletion whether or not you can still use the app. If tendTwo is no longer on your phone, or you can't sign in, you don't need to reinstall it: just use the email option below.
tendTwo is free and has no subscriptions or purchases, so there's nothing you need to cancel before deleting your account.
option 1: delete your account in the app
If you can sign in to tendTwo, the quickest way is from within the app:
- Open tendTwo and tap me (your profile) at the bottom of the screen.
- Scroll to the bottom, below sign out, and tap delete my account.
- Read the message and tap delete to confirm.
If you haven't set up or joined a home yet, you'll find delete my account on the screen you see instead. Your account is deleted straight away and you're signed out.
Only want to leave your household and keep your account? See support.
option 2: ask us by email (no app needed)
If you can't use the app (you've uninstalled it, lost your phone, or can't sign in), you can ask us by email:
- Email hello@tendtwo.com.au with the subject line "Delete my account".
- Send it from the email address you use to sign in to tendTwo, so we can check the request is really from you. If you signed in with Apple and chose to hide your email, or you can no longer use that address, tell us in your message and we'll work with you to confirm it's you another way.
- We'll confirm by email once your account has been deleted.
what gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we delete:
- your sign-in account, including your name and email address;
- your member profile: your display name, colour, notification settings and push tokens, your trackers and the weekdays you're usually home;
- your cycle data, if you used cycle awareness;
- the notes tendTwo's chat kept about you;
- your profile photo; and
- your waitlist entry, if you signed in while tendTwo was invite-only.
If you're the only member of your home, the whole home goes with your account. That means every task, routine, library item, space, moment, household contact and helper, your daily check-ins and the date ideas.
If your partner stays, your private spaces and private items go with you: everything in your private spaces, and any "a little something" notes you wrote. The home belongs to both of you, so things you shared stay with it, along with everything your partner added.
Today's chat conversation and other app settings are stored on your phone, and are removed when you delete the app.
Deletion is permanent. We don't keep backups, so deleted data can't be recovered. You'd need to create a new account to use tendTwo again. If you ever find anything left behind, email hello@tendtwo.com.au and we'll remove it.
how long deletion takes
- Your account and personal data are deleted from our systems within 30 days of your request. If you delete in the app, it happens straight away.
- We keep no backups, so there are no further copies of our own to clear. Some of our
providers hold copies for a limited time under their own rules:
- Google's sign-in service finishes erasing a deleted account within 180 days.
- Anthropic, our AI provider, deletes chat content within 30 days of receiving it, as explained in our Privacy Policy (section 5).
- Crash reports, which aren't linked to your account, expire after 90 days.
what we may keep
In limited cases we keep some information after deletion: only where we're required or permitted by law to keep it, or where it's reasonably needed to resolve a dispute or enforce our agreements. Anything we keep is kept only for as long as that purpose requires, and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
questions
